I hold a B.S. degree in Biochemistry. In 2014, I graduated with the highest honors from Stony Brook University, summa cum laude. While I was enrolled in college, I helped teach science courses while serving as a teaching assistant. Hence, I had the opportunity to teach under a variety of settings while gaining valuable personal and group tutoring experience. I work hard to engage my students while providing them with learning strategies that will improve their progress. When they are having trouble, I seek out the root of their confusion so I can provide a tailored solution to help them resolve any problems they are experiencing. My main tutoring specialty areas are math and science. I tutor students in math topics ranging from elementary math to Algebra 2 and science topics ranging from genetics to biochemistry and physics. I can also assist with MCAT and graduate school test preparation. I strive to help my students master science and math concepts so they can excel.
